LAMP phase 1A: Post implementation review published
The CAA has completed the post implementation review (PIR) of the LAMP 1A airspace change proposal.
As a result of our analysis, the CAA has concluded that the LAMP 1A PIR does show that the proposal has been implemented and operated as expected.

Two airspace change proposals approved 
We have published our decision on two airspace change submissions affecting aircraft flying over the Solent and Channel Islands and North Sea. The changes, requested by the air navigation service provider NATS, will affect commercial air traffic flying above 7,000ft.
Both changes are part of the Swanwick airspace improvement programme (SAIP AD3 and SAIP AD4) launched by NATS and managed from its Swanwick control centre.

NERL resilience condition requirement
The CAA published today notice of a proposal to modify NERL’s licence to require it to produce a resilience plan.
Consultation on the proposal closes on 26 March 2018

We have published our decision relating to the Swanwick Airspace Improvements Programme (SAIP_ Airspace Development (AD)1 Airspace Change Proposal.

WHGA GNSS IAPs airspace change proposal
Framework Briefing with Wolverhampton Airport Limited was held on 16 June 2016 concerning their proposal to introduce GNSS instrument approach procedures on both runways. We expect Wolverhampton Airport Limited to confirm their intentions in due course.

The proposal seeks to establish revised departure routes from runway 15 utilising Performance-based Navigation (PBN) technology, following the extension to the airport’s instrument runway.

New easy process to enable electronic identification of light aircraft announced
Yesterday we released proposals for how GA aircraft and airspace users in uncontrolled UK airspace can use low cost and low power electronic devices (known as electronic conspicuity) to be more visible to each other. The aim is to make it significantly easier and cheaper for pilots to be able to electronically show other aircraft their position by turning the ‘see and avoid’ concept into ‘see, BE SEEN and avoid.’
