Additional professional activities


Three winters spent on secondment to Airbus Training involved in the construction of Computer Based Training (CBT) for pilot conversions. Instrumental in causing a major change in Airbus CBT implementation during first secondment which resulted in their request for my return subsequently.  Final project was the construction of the A330 Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) CBT.

Within Monarch involved in projects associated with Pilot Training and Operations publications before taking up the position as Head of Safety Management.

Actively involved in the development of the Aerobytes FDM software and Superstructure Aviation Quality Database software.

Hobbies

 

§          Electronic Music and restoration of old analogue synthesizers.

§          Motor cycle riding (Harley-Davidson) – Mid life crisis event!

§          Snowboarding – Gives my son something to point and laugh at!
