The Colgan Accident led to congressional hearings and a Call to Action (CTA) by the FAA. This CTA led to a series of 12 meetings involving commercial pilots and managers around the US. Four areas were discussed - Screening and hiring, Training, building experience and safety culture. The discussion were captured and recommendations formulated. The document contains useful lessons and considerations that may be of value for UKFSC Members.
