CAA Notifications on NOTAL
The purpose of this NOTAL is to inform aerodrome licence holders of the CAA's revised airspace guidance in relation to volcanic ash.

The purpose of this NOTAL is to notify Aerodrome Licence Holders of the outcome from joint CAA-industry meetings regarding the exceptional weather in Winter 2009/10. It contains some best practice advice and guidance with regard to winter operations and the promulgation of information to operators and other aerodrome users. The information has also been provided to Air Navigation Service Providers via ATSIN and to Airline Operators via FODCOM.

As a result of a proposal made by industry that UK operators flying to a UK destination be permitted to use an NDA with an RFFS category one level lower than the applicable ICAO Annex 14 RFFS category for that aeroplane type, the CAA has reviewed its policy on NDAs. The purpose of this NOTAL is to inform aerodrome licence holders of a change in CAA policy which this initiative has brought about.

NOTAL 2009/06: Changes to CAP 168 regarding EU-OPS All Weather Operations The purpose of this NOTAL is to notify Aerodrome Licence Holders of the introduction of the revised All Weather Operations in EU-OPS and to highlight the conditions to be met in order to support these new approach operations at their aerodrome. Aerodromes that are unable to meet the conditions specified will be able to continue with their current approach operations.
